This is one topic I was involved recently with. Since I got a good understanding of what a Rewards platform is, I will be writing about it today.
A Rewards platform is used by companies to provide all kinds of rewards and bonuses to their customers. These companies can be anything ranging from to mobile service providers to banks. Such platforms can be used to create various reward programs. For example, mobile operators can provide their subscribers with rewards for their top-ups, subscriptions etc. In addition, these platforms provide loyalty programs to reward customers for their usage and tenure programs to reward for the usage time.
One way of providing these rewards could be as bonus points which could be redeemed later by the customer. These are called intangible gifts. Tangible gifts such as cash prizes, caps, bags, T-shirts could be provided as well. Apart from the above mentioned promotions, rewards platforms facilitate the promotion of location-based campaigns as well where the companies can promote specific programs to customers residing on specific areas.
There are various benefits to customers as well as the organization in using a rewards platform. Customer will be delighted to receive the various incentives from the company. The organization will receive the benefit of sustaining the existing customer base easily as well attracting new market segments. This will create new revenue streams for the company. In addition, they will be able to analyze the consumer service usage patterns and provide services catering to their needs. Nowadays most companies have discovered the requirement of such a platform to keep their customers loyal and satisfied. So the rewards platforms are being upgraded with newer features each day. And there's no doubt that the future platforms will be able to provide even more surprising features and benefits.
